The abandonment of real property and other rights in rem over immovable assets will be the focus of the conference “La rinuncia alla proprietà immobiliare, agli altri diritti reali sugli immobili e alle partecipazioni di società di capitali”, to be held in Terni, Italy, on 9 July 2026.

Organised by the Centro Studi Giuridici sui Diritti dei Consumatori ODV in Terni, the conference will bring together professionals from the academic, legal, notarial, judicial and tax fields to examine the abandonment of real property, other rights in rem over immovable assets and shareholdings in companies.
The event will feature specialists from a range of institutions and will address matters of particular legal interest, including the abandonment of real property, its notarial implications, its tax treatment, issues relating to inheritance, the acquisitive abandonment of jointly owned property and liability arising from the subsequent deterioration of the asset.
