Lourdes is a specialist in Urban Planning, Public, and Contract Law. She is also an expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods and Compliance.
She holds a Law Degree from the University of Alcalá de Henares (1997), a Master’s in Comparative European Law from Universidad Carlos III (1998), and a Master’s in Urban Planning from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2003). She has earned the Compliance Expert title from ICAM (2018), the CESCOM® & Internationally Certified Compliance Professional (ICCP) certification (2020), and is a recognized Compliance Expert for the Courts of Justice throughout Spain (2020).
Lourdes is a trained mediator from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, practicing in civil, commercial, insolvency, and administrative disputes, registered with the Ministry of Justice. She is also an arbitrator and member of the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association, and a specialist in Collaborative Law and Private Conciliation.
She began her career at the international law firm OSBORNE CLARKE (1998–2005), then founded her own firm, URBABUILDING Asesoramiento Jurídico (2005), working as a technical urban law advisor for various municipalities. Later, she founded TRUST BUILDING EMPRESAS (2013), a legal consultancy specializing in Compliance and ADR methods. A member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), she has been practicing law since 1998.
As an educator, Lourdes has taught at ICAM’s Center for Studies in the Master’s program for Compliance Experts, at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and CEOE-CEPYME. She also provides mediation training with public administrations at the Madrid Mediation School and has presented webinars for MediaICAM, GEMME Spain, and the Club Derecho Construcción (CDCI).
