Lourdes del Amo de la Fuente is a specialist in urban planning, public law and contract law. She is also an expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and specialises in compliance.

She holds a Law degree from the University of Alcalá de Henares (1997), a Master’s degree in Comparative European Law from Carlos III University (1998) and a Master’s degree in Town Planning from Rey Juan Carlos University (2003). She holds the title of COMPLIANCE EXPERT from ICAM (2018), the CESCOM® COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION & INTERNATIONALLY CERTIFIED COMPLIANCE PROFESSIONAL (ICCP) (2020) and is an Expert Witness in Compliance for the Courts of Justice, practising throughout Spain (2020).

She is a mediator qualified by the Autonomous University of Madrid, practising in the areas of civil, commercial, insolvency and administrative litigation, and is registered with the Ministry of Justice; she is also an arbitrator, a member of the Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Bar Association, and a specialist in Collaborative Law and Private Conciliation.

Lourdes began her professional career at the international firm OSBORNE CLARKE (1998–2005), after which she founded her own practice, URBABUILDING ASESORAMIENTO JÚRICO (2005), working as a technical town planning lawyer for several local authorities, and subsequently founded TRUST BUILDING EMPRESAS (2013), a legal consultancy specialising in compliance and MASC-ADR methods. A member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), she has been practising law since 1998.

As a lecturer, she has taught on the Master’s in Compliance at the ICAM Study Centre, at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and at CEOE-CEPYME. She is also a trainer in mediation with public authorities at the School of Mediation, Madrid City Council, and a speaker at webinars organised by MediaIcam, GEMME Spain and the Construction Law Club (CDCI).
